Crust: Combine processed cookies with melted butter. Press mixture on the bottom of a pie mold. Bake at preheated moderate oven to 350ºF (180ºC) for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven. Cool.
Filling: Combine condensed milk and the lemon juice and pour into crust. Cut drained peaches into wedges and arrange on top.
Topping: Dilute cornstarch in syrup and heat in a saucepan. Bring to a boil until mixture thickens lightly. Cool 2 minutes and pour over peaches. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
