    PASTA WITH THREE COLOR PEPPER SAUCE     

   Ingredients :
 
1 lb 2 oz (1/2 k) fettucini or any other pasta
1 lb 2 oz (1/2 k) peppers, green, red and yellow
1 ¾ oz (50 gr) bacon, chopped
3 garlic cloves
Fresh basil leaves, chopped
Butter
Oil
Salt
Pepper

   Preparation:

Cook whole peppers in a saucepan with boiling water. Drain and dry. Cut peppers in half lengthwise, remove seeds and cut them in thin strips.

Heat butter with 1 teaspoon oil in a skillet and brown whole garlic cloves. Add bacon and cook until lightly browned. Add peppers and chopped basil and cook approximately 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper.

Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain pasta and combine with the pepper sauce.
Serve.
