GREEN SALAD WITH STRAWBERRY DRESSING

Ingredients :

1 lb (500 g) strawberries, rinsed, dried and halved

5 ½ oz (150 g) mixed lettuce leaves, cut in medium size pieces

½ cup arúgula leaves, cut in medium size pieces

1 1/3 cup fresh white cheese or feta cheese, diced

1 medium size onion, cut in thin julienne

½ cup nuts or pecans, toasted

1/3 cup oil

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon sugar

Salt

Pepper

Preparation:

Mash the necessary strawberries to obtain 1/3 cup. Place rest of strawberries in a bowl. Add lettuce, nuts, cheese and onion.
Whisk together vinegar, sugar and oil in a small bowl. Add mashed strawberries and season with salt and pepper.
Toss salad with dressing.
