Cut passion fruit in half and remove pulp. Place pulp in blender and pulse 2 or 3 times to separate the pulp from the seeds. Strain juice pressing with a spoon.
Peel papaya, discard seeds and cut in small pieces. Gently press pieces with a fork.
Place passion fruit juice and papaya in a medium size saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring, until liquid is evaporated, starts to thicken and the bottom of the pan can be seen when stirring.
