SNOW PEA SALAD   
  Ingredients :
    1 lb (460 g) fresh snow peas
    4 slices bacon
    4 cups shredded lettuce
    ½ cup chopped parsley
    ¼ cup sesame seed
    ½ cup salad oil
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    2 tablespoon vinegar
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    Salt
    Pepper

  Preparation:

Spread sesame seeds in an ungreased baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes in oven 350° F (175° C), until golden, stirring frequently. Cool.

Combine sesame seed, salad oil, lemon juice, vinegar, sugar, garlic, salt and pepper. Whisk or shake vigorously in a glass jar and refrigerate.

Remove stems from snow peas and steam for 2 to 3 minutes. Cover and chill.

Fry bacon until crisp, drain in paper towels and crumble.

In a large salad bowl, toss the lettuce, snow peas, parsley and bacon. Shake dressing until well blended and pour desired amount over salad. Serve immediately.
