WALDORF SALAD   
  Ingredients :
    3 cups apples, peeled, cored and cubed
    2 cups celery, chopped
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1 cup heavy cream, whipped as for chantilly
    2 cups white wine vinegar, approximately
    2 tablespoons corn syrup
    2 cups white grapes, seeded and peeled
    1 cup nuts, chopped
    Salt
    1 red apple, with skin, cored and cubed, for decoration

  Preparation:

Combine mayonnaise with vinegar. Add cubed apple, syrup and celery and combine.

Fold in whipped cream and season.

Before serving add nuts and grapes, previously drained. Reserve few grapes for decoration.

Transfer all to a salad bowl and sprinkle with apple cubes and reserved grapes.
