BASIL AND LEMON DIP   
  Ingredients :
    4 oz (115 g) cream cheese
    ½ cup de mayonnaise
    1/8 cup lemon juice
    1 teaspoon sugar
    ½ cup fresh basil, finely chopped
    ¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
    1 garlic clove, finely chopped
    Salt
    Pepper

  Preparation:

Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, except mayonnaise. Process until creamy. Transfer to a bowl. Add mayonnaise until the desired consistency is obtained. Cover and refrigerate.

Serve with skewered cooked tortellini, boiled shrimp, blanched asparagus. Can be served also over steamed vegetables and poached salmon.
