HOT DOG AND BACON APPETIZERS   
  Ingredients :
    10 frankfurters, cut in 1 – 1 ¼ inch pieces (2 – 3 cm)
    9 oz (250 g) bacon in thin slices, cut in half
    1 ½ cup brown sugar, approximately
    ¼ teaspoon ground clove

  Preparation:

Combine sugar and ground clove. Sprinkle over bacon. Roll hot dog pieces in bacon and fasten with toothpicks. Sprinkle remaining sugar and clove over and place on a cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes or until bacon is brown.
 
        Yields: Approximately 50 appetizers
