GREEN SALAD WITH PEARS AND BACON
Ingredients :
Arugula to taste, rinsed and handcut in medium size pieces
3 lettuces; different types, rinsed and handcut in medium size pieces
4 bacon strips, fried until crispy and chopped
1 hard boiled egg
1 canned pear in syrup
1 tablespoon honey
4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
5 tablespoons olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Preparation:
Place handcut lettuces and arúgula in a salad bowl.Cut pears in wedges lengthwise. Drain. Reserve syrup.
Heat honey and add vinegar, oil, salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 or 2 tablespoons pear syrup (optional). Whisk until combined. Correct seasoning.
Combine lettuce with pears and sprinkle bacon. Force boiled egg through a strainer over salad.Drizzle vinaigrette over salad.Serve.
