SPINACH SALAD WITH STRAWBERRIES   
  Ingredients :
    Dressing:
    4 tablespoons sesame seeds toasted
    1/3 cup white sugar, approximately
    1 cup extra virgin olive oil
    ½ cup white vinegar
    ½ teaspoon paprika
    ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    2 tablespoons minced red onion
    Salt
    Pepper

    Salad:
    1 lb 2 oz (½ k) spinach leaves, rinsed, dried and cut into bite size pieces
    2 – 3 cups strawberries, rinsed, hulled and sliced
    ½ cup nuts or almonds, chopped
    5 ½ oz (150 g) ricotta cheese, crumbled

  Preparation:
Dressing:
Whisk together in a medium size bowl: sesame seeds, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and onion. Season to taste. Cover bowl and refrigerate at least 1 hour. This dressing may be prepared in the blender.

Salad:
Combine spinach leaves, strawberries, nuts and ricotta cheese in a large bowl. Transfer to a salad bowl.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes and toss with dressing before serving.

Optional: Add chopped banana and sprinkle fried bacon bits.
