   Ingredients :
1 lb (1/2 k) baby carrots, peeled
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon butter
teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of allspice
1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)


Place baby carrots in a medium saucepan and cover them with water.
Cover saucepan and cook carrots until tender. Drain and discard water.

Return carrots to the saucepan and combine with honey, butter, cinnamon and allspice. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are glazed with the honey. Keep warm until ready to serve.
Add lemon juice, if desired, before serving and stir.
