    CORN TORTILLA CHIP FOR APPETIZERS     

   Ingredients :
 
Vegetable oil, for frying
1 package corn tortillas cut into 6 or 8 wedges
Salt

   Preparation:

Heat oil in a large deep skillet. Fry the corn tortillas, in batches until crisp. Remove from the skillet and drain in paper towels. Season with salt to taste.
Serve instead of melba toasts or crackers for creams or dips.

Serve with:
Cream Cheese Caprese for appetizers
Cream of Roquefort Cheese for Hors D Oeuvre
