    DUTCH APPLE PIE     

   Ingredients :
 
1 ¼ cup sifted all purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup butter
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons milk
5 medium-size cooking apples
½ cup raisins

Cinnamon Topping:
1 ½ cup sugar
2 tablespoon flour
3 tablespoon butter
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

   Preparation:

Sift together dry ingredients. Place in processor together with butter, egg yolk and milk. Process until combined.

Press dough in a 9 in (18 cm) layer tart pan.

Peel, core and cut apples into eighths. Cover dough with apples and sprinkle with raisins. Cover with Cinnamon Topping.

Cinnamon Topping:
Blend together all ingredients with a fork. Cover apples with topping.

Bake in preheated oven 350 °F (180 °C) until apples are soft and cooked, for approximately 50 minutes.

Serve alone or with ice cream.
        6 to 8 servings
