Sift flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and baking soda into a medium size bowl. Stir in sugar, pineapple, nuts, figs and orange peel. Add oil, carrot and orange peel, eggs and stir.
Pour brandy and mix thoroughly.
Pour mixture into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake in pre heated oven 350°F (180°C) for 1 hour.
