Sauté onion with butter in a medium size saucepan. Add shredded zucchini, crushed garlic and sauté 2 minutes more.
Add vegetable bouillon and bring to a boil over low heat, covered, for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and stir in milk or cream. Serve and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
