Combine mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, green onion and artichoke in a glass bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Cover and microwave at Medium-High (70%) 4 to 5 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes, until hot.
Serve warm with crackers or toasts.
To cook 4 artichokes: Thoroughly wash artichokes allowing a small amount of water to cling to the leaves. Wrap artichokes in wax paper and place on a glass plate. Microwave on HIGH (100 %) for 12 to 14 minutes, rotating halfway during cooking. Rest, covered for 5 minutes before using. Proceed to remove edible part from the leaves with a spoon and chop the bottoms.
