Brown pork in hot oil. Sprinkle soy sauce generously over pork. Add water and simmer covered for 1 hour.
Sauce: Combine all ingredients, except green pepper, onion and pineapple. Cook until slightly thick, stirring constantly. Pour sauce over hot pork. Let stand 10 minutes (or several hours if you wish).
When ready to serve add green pepper, onion and pineapple chunks. Heat and cook for 3 minutes.
Serve with white rice.
