SALMON FILLET WITH HONEY AND SOY SAUCE
Ingredients :
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 – 2 teaspoons lemon juice, approximately
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 salmon steaks (7 oz / 200g) approximately, trimmed
Salt
Pepper
Preparation:
Combine honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, mustard and water in a medium size bowl. Heat oil in a small skillet until hot but not smoking.
Place fillets in skillet and cook 2 – 3 minutes on each side until golden or just cooked through. Remove fillets from the skillet and place them on 2 dishes. Pour honey mixture to skillet and simmer for 1 minute. Pour sauce over salmon fillets.
Serve with
Creamed Spinach
as a side dish. Prepare ½ of the recipe.
