    VANILLA CHEESECAKE WITH OREO CHOCOLATE COOKIES     

   Ingredients :
 
1 ½ cup Oreo chocolate cookies, crushed
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup melted butter
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ½ cup Chocolate Oreo cookies, quartered
1 teaspoon flour
1 lb 2 oz (500 g) strawberries or raspberries
3 ½ oz (100 g) strawberry jelly

   Preparation:

Combine crushed cookies with sugar, melted butter and cocoa powder. Press mixture on the bottom and sides of a 9 inch (20 cm) springform pan. Set crust aside.

Beat cream cheese in the mixer until smooth. Gradually add condensed milk, vanilla and eggs. Continue beating until mixture is smooth and fluffy.

Remove bowl from mixer and fold in 1 cup of quartered cookies. Pour cheese mixture into pan and sprinkle remaining cookies on top.

Bake in preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for approximately 1 hour. Cheesecake will be ready when sides of it are set and the center moves slightly. Turn oven off and let cheesecake in oven (with the oven door open) for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely. Refrigerate before removing sides of pan.

Arrange strawberries on top of cheesecake.

Dilute jelly with 3 tablespoons water in a small pan. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Cool slightly and brush syrup over strawberries. Refrigerate until serving.
