Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté green onion, garlic and sesame oil. Stir in chili and cilantro. Add mushrooms, ginger and soy sauce. Bring to a boil and cook 3 to 4 minutes. Season to taste.
Cut cheese crosswise and spoon mushroom mixture over one half. Cover with remaining half.Just before serving, heat for a few minutes in oven until cheese softens slightly.Serve over toasts.
